Ob Title: Custom Clearance H-Card Holder Department: Customs / Freight Forwarding Location: [Insert Location] Reporting To: Manager – Customs Clearance Job Purpose: Responsible For Smooth And Timely Customs Clearance Of Import And Export Consignments. The G Card Holder Will Represent The Company At Customs Offices, Ensuring Compliance With Customs Regulations, Timely Documentation, And Coordination With Internal And External Stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle Customs Clearance Procedures For Both Imports And Exports At Air Cargo / Sea Cargo / Icd / Cfs As Per Business Requirements.

Represent The Company As A Licensed G Card Holder Before Customs Authorities.

Prepare, Verify, And Submit Bills Of Entry, Shipping Bills, And Related Customs Documents In Line With Regulatory Requirements.

Liaise With Customs Officials For Assessment, Examination, And Release Of Cargo.

Ensure Proper Tariff Classification, Valuation, Duty Structure, And Adherence To Customs Notifications And Exemptions.

Coordinate With Cha Teams, Freight Forwarders, Transporters, And Clients To Ensure Smooth Clearance.

Handle Queries Raised By Customs And Resolve Issues Efficiently.

Keep Updated Knowledge Of Customs Act, Ftp (Foreign Trade Policy), Dgft Notifications, And Allied Regulatory Bodies (Fssai, Pq, Adc, Etc.).

Maintain Accurate Records Of Clearance Activities And Submit Timely Reports To Management.

Ensure Compliance With All Statutory And Legal Requirements Related To Customs Clearance.

Support In Audits, Assessments, And Related Compliance Activities.

Valid Customs G Card Holder License (Mandatory).

Familiarity With Icegate, Edi Filing, And Other Digital Customs Systems.

Graduate In Any Discipline (Commerce / Logistics Preferred).
