Job Summary We Are Looking For A Transport Executive Who Will Be Responsible For Coordinating Transportation Activities, Managing Transport Vendors, Arranging Vehicles As Per Business Requirements, And Ensuring Smooth Movement Of Goods Across Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare And Generate E-Way Bills As Per Dispatch Requirements.Take Rate Quotations From Transport Vendors And Negotiate Best Possible Rates.Arrange Tempo And Truck Vehicles (20 Ft To 40 Ft) As Per Shipment Requirements.Ensure Timely Placement Of Vehicles And Smooth Pickup And Delivery Of Goods.
Maintain Proper Coordination With Transport Vendors And Drivers.Have Strong Route Knowledge Of Maharashtra For Efficient Planning And Cost Control.Maintain And Update Driver Data Including License, Contact Details, And Vehicle Information.Maintain And Update Vendor Data Including Rates, Routes, And Availability.
Monitor Basic Vehicle Maintenance Coordination With Vendors To Avoid Delays.
Track Daily Vehicle Movement And Resolve Transport-Related Issues.
Ensure Compliance With Company Policies And Transport Documentation Requirements.
Required Skills &Amp; Knowledge
Good Knowledge Of Maharashtra Transport Routes.
Understanding Of Tempo And Truck Types (20 Ft, 22 Ft, 32 Ft, 40 Ft).
Experience In Handling Transport Vendors And Rate Quotations.
Knowledge Of E-Way Bill Generation.
Ability To Coordinate With Drivers And Vendors Efficiently.
Basic Knowledge Of Vehicle Maintenance And Transport Operations.
Good Communication And Coordination Skills.
Preferred Candidate Profile
1&Ndash;3 Years Of Experience In Transport Or Logistics Operations.
Experience In Dealing With Multiple Transport Vendors.
Ability To Work Under Pressure And Handle Urgent Vehicle Requirements.
Basic Computer Knowledge For Maintaining Records And Documentation.
